Grant Cemetery, located in Pleasant Township, Hardin County, Ohio, is a historical burial site situated north of Kenton on Township Road 74, off State Route 53. The cemetery is home to a variety of memorials, reflecting the rich history and heritage of the local community.


Established in the 19th century, Grant Cemetery contains graves of early settlers and notable families from the area. Among the interments, you can find members of the Hunt, Johnson, Lewis, and King families, some of whom date back to the mid-1800s. For example, Hiram King (1821-1903) and his wife Rebecca R. King (1823-1910) are notable interments here, showcasing the cemetery's long-standing role in the community's history. Grant Cemetery is still accepting burials. 


The cemetery offers a glimpse into the past lives and contributions of its residents, with gravestones marking the resting places of veterans, pioneers, and everyday citizens who helped shape the region.
